Status mappings

To change the status mappings in Ceptah Bridge, select Status tab in the Project settings window.

An explanation of the Status Mappings tab is provided below.

Field Description
Status Tick the option to enable Status synchronisation.
% completeField

Tick the option to map issue Status to task % complete.

Import: The % complete task field will be set to a value that depends on the current source issue Status.

Sync (unlinked task): Has no effect.

Sync (linked task): The % complete task field will be set to a value that depends on the current source issue Status.

Add Add a new link between JIRA issue status and % complete values.
Delete Delete the selected links between JIRA issue status and % complete values.
Set % complete to 0% for other statuses

Tick the option to set % complete to 0% complete table.

Import: Has no effect because initial % complete is 0 either way.

Sync (unlinked task): Has no effect.

Sync (linked task): If ticked, the % complete will be set to 0 if the issue Status has not been found in the status mapping table. Otherwise, the field will remain unchanged.

Field

Tick the option to map issue Status to a task field.

Import: The selected task field will be populated with the source issue Status value.

Sync (unlinked task): Has no effect.

Sync (linked task): The selected task field will be set to the issue Status value.

Field (combo box) Select the task field to map to issue Status.
Resolution Tick the option to enable Resolution synchronisation.

Select the task field to map to issue Resolution.

Import: The selected task field will be populated with the source issue Resolution.

Sync (unlinked task): Has no effect.

Sync (linked task): The selected task field will be set to the issue Resolution.

Resolution Date Tick the option to enable Resolution Date synchronisation.
Field

Select the task field to map to issue Resolution Date.

Import: The selected task field will be populated with the source issue Resolution Date.

Sync (unlinked task): Has no effect.

Sync (linked task): The selected task field will be set to the issue Resolution Date.

Security Level Tick the option to enable Security Level synchronisation.
Direction Button Press the button to change the direction of issue Security Level synchronisation.
Default

Select the default Security Level.

Import: Has no effect.

Sync (unlinked task): The Security Level will be used by default when a new issue is created.

Sync (linked task): See the help for the “Field” combo box.

Field

Select the task field to map to issue Security Level.

Import: The selected task field will be populated with the Security Level of the source issue.

Sync (unlinked task): If the selected task field is not blank, the new issue will be created with the given Security Level. Otherwise, the default Security Level will be used.

Sync (linked task): If the synchronisation direction is from JIRA to MS Project, the selected task field will be set to the Security Level of the linked issue if it is different from the default Security Level.

If the synchronisation direction is from MS Project to JIRA and the selected task field is not blank, the issue Security Level will be set to the field value. If the field is empty, the default Security Level will be used.
