Licensing

Does the Price Depend on the Total Jira Users

Question: How are Ceptah Bridge licence users counted, and do they need to match the total number of Jira users?

Answer: Ceptah Bridge licences are required only for MS Project users who install and use Ceptah Bridge to synchronise MS Project with Jira. The number of licence users does not need to match the total number of Jira users. You only need to licence those who actually use Ceptah Bridge with MS Project, such as project managers or team leads. Other Jira users who do not use Ceptah Bridge do not require a licence.

Also, you can use Ceptah Bridge with any number of JIRA instances, and this does not affect the price.

Is Annual Maintenance Required?

Question: Am I required to pay for the annual maintenance to continue using the product?

Answer: No, the maintenance renewal is optional. You can use the product versions released during the first year for as long as you like. You will need to renew the maintenance to make sure that you have access to the new versions and support.

From time to time, breaking changes are introduced to the Jira and tempo APIs by their developers. This makes older Ceptah Bridge versions incompatible, and some functions of the software may stop working. We recommend keeping your maintenance current to avoid any disruption.

Automatic Maintenance Renewal

Question: Will my card be automatically charged and the maintenance renewed? Do I need to take action to prevent that?

Answer: No, we do not store credit card details and do not renew maintenance automatically. The subscription will simply expire unless you manually renew it.
