In order to change the global Ceptah Bridge connection
settings, select JIRA > Connection Settings
in the Microsoft Project menu.
The connection settings window will be
Enter the URL (address) of the JIRA server you are using. You can find it in the address bar of your JIRA browser window.
Enter the user name and password to be used to
connect to the JIRA server. If the password field is left blank, Cepta Bridge will prompt for password whenever required.
If you are using a proxy server to access JIRA, tick
'Use proxy server' and enter the proxy server connection parameters. If you do not use proxy server, leave the option unticked.
You can press the 'Test Connection' button to make sure that the connection works before saving the settings.
JIRA 5 and earlier only: Select the language
specified in the JIRA profile of the user. This setting is required for dates
to be transmitted to and received from JIRA in correct format during
synchronization. If the selection does not match the user’s language, an
attempt to apply changes may result in a format-related JIRA error message.
JIRA 5 and earlier only: If there is a custom date picker format set in JIRA, copy the format string into the Date format field. If the formats do not match, you may receive a format-related JIRA error message during synchronization, import and/or applying changes.

Press OK or Cancel to save or discard the settings entered respectively.
The settings are stored in your Windows profile and are unique for each Windows user.
If you try to use other functions of the Bridge and have not specified general settings yet, the settings form will automatically open.
